Welcome Chester

It took a very very long time to find this boy!

I have the upmost sympathy for anyone looking for a new horse. A process of obsession, deflation, nerves, anticipation and a whole lot of driving!

12 weeks in and Chester had settled like a dream 🥰 he is a 6 year old Irish sport horse type and is already capturing my heart. He’s helping me build up my confidence from rock bottom, but I have found myself giving him confidence too.

It was important for me to have a horse that was about to fit into my routine. I love horses and they are a huge part of my life, but I have a life and work and family and friends outside of them too. Balancing all those is hard enough let alone with a horse I’m scared to ride, or is high maintenance.

Myself and my mum have managed to tick off a life long dream of hacking our horses together. Pepsi is enjoying being a nanny to Chester on the roads, and giving me a confidence when I need it. I’ve already done a lot with him, which I want to document now he has settled, he’s such a good boy.

Welcome Chester, here’s hoping for an exciting time ahead
